Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in integration engineering, data engineering, or a related software role.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Java, PLSQL).
• Strong RESTful API design, HTTP semantics, and API security knowledge.
• Experience building streaming data pipelines with Kafka or Kinesis.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT experience with an orchestration platform (Informatica, Talend, ODI).
• Experience with at least one cloud data warehouse or lakehouse.
• SQL proficiency across relational DBs.
• Docker experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for integration artifacts.
• Ability to read and produce clear technical docs and data flow diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, publish RESTful and GraphQL APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
• Manage API gateways, authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT), and rate limits.
• Integrate third-party SaaS, microservices, and internal apps using sync/async patterns.
• Create API documentation, versioning, and deprecation policies.
