Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a Data Analyst to turn complex data into meaningful business insights. You will work hands-on with Python and SQL to uncover trends and build analytics that influence decisions.

You'll develop Python-based analysis and automation, create dashboards with Power BI or Tableau, and collaborate with business and tech teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, BI, or related field.
• Strong hands-on Python experience is required.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience is required.
• Experience with large datasets and relational databases.
• Experience with data transformation, analysis, and visualization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets using Python and SQL to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, analytics datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop Python-based data analysis and automation solutions.
• Clean, transform, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources.
• Partner with business and technology teams to translate requirements into insights.
• Build dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Identify data quality issues and improve accuracy and reliability.
• Develop KPIs and performance metrics for leadership decisions.
• Present insights to technical and business stakeholders.
• Support ad hoc analysis, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
