Job summary

Sedgwick seeks a Senior Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable business insights and drive informed decisions across casualty and managed care. You will partner with stakeholders, build scalable data models in Snowflake, and develop dashboards using SQL, Python, and Hex-based analytics tools.

The role emphasizes mentorship of junior analysts, data governance, and delivering strategic recommendations to leadership. A strong insurance or managed care background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or business analytics.
• Experience translating data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with leaders to define problems and shape analytical approaches for strategic decisions.
• Design, develop, and optimize data models in Snowflake to support scalable reporting.
• Write complex SQL and use Python to extract, transform, and analyze data for deeper business understanding.
• Build and maintain dashboards highlighting insights, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
