Job summary

Yeshnex IT Solutions in Los Angeles invites an experienced hands-on contractor to own AWS infrastructure delivery and production reliability for data platforms. You will manage VPCs, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, and RDS, plus Terraform modules, IaC pipelines, and CI/CD while optimizing costs and security.

The role emphasizes independent ownership, incident response, monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with data engineers to support production workloads.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering experience with depth.
• Hands-on AWS experience including networking, compute, storage, and databases.
• Practical knowledge of IaC, CI/CD, and production reliability practices.
• Experience with Linux networking, DNS, TLS, load balancing, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own AWS infrastructure delivery and production reliability for data platforms.
• Manage VPCs, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, and RDS with secure, scalable patterns.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and manage remote state and drift.
• Implement incident response, RCA, monitoring, and alerting to reduce issues.
• Handle Linux networking, DNS, TLS, routing, and load balancing troubleshooting.
• Oversee Docker containers, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and rollback plans.
• Automate infrastructure operations with Python and shell scripts.
• Enforce least privilege, secrets management, backups, and DR testing.
• Optimize capacity and AWS costs while maintaining performance.
