Job summary

PlusAI, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer (SE / Sr SE) to own critical parts of the data infrastructure for autonomous-vehicle data. Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Programming experience in modern C++ and working proficiency in Python for services, libraries, and tooling
• Linux systems knowledge, including concurrency, memory and resource management, filesystem and storage I/O, networking, debugging, and performance profiling
• Self-driven with ownership mindset and ability to drive projects end to end

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve high-throughput C++ systems for recording vehicle sensor and runtime data under resource constraints
• Build reliable Python data-plane services and libraries for data transfer, ingestion, validation, cataloging, and storage lifecycle management
• Evolve versioned vehicle-data formats and APIs, including indexing, serialization, compression, and backward compatibility
• Improve scalability and performance for fleet-scale mining, replay, and analytics
• Ensure work aligns with the company’s QMS and contributes to continuous improvement efforts
