Job summary

Allegis Group is seeking an IS Manager for Governance and Privacy to lead data governance, privacy, and protection programs across the enterprise. This leader will partner with the Global Privacy Office, Information Security, and business stakeholders to enable clean, protected, and trusted data.

The role requires in-office presence at least 4 days per week, managing budgets, and maturing governance practices aligned with GDPR/CCPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems or equivalent
• 10–12 years IT experience
• 3+ years of management/leadership experience in IT
• 2+ years' experience with data governance and/or data privacy products
• Experience with data governance and privacy tools (OneTrust, Atlan, Collibra)
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Ability to partner with key business stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead an agile team developing and maturing data privacy, compliance, and governance policies and processes with focus on adoption and outcomes
• Drive practices to improve productivity and reduce waste while delivering on time, within budget
• Collaborate with business leaders and data owners to implement standards and governance framework
• Promote enforcement of data governance standards and enable trusted data consumption
• Develop data governance products with metrics aligned to legal/regulatory standards
• Coordinate with Global Privacy Office and IS teams on privacy processes (GDPR, CCPA)
• Prepare delivery cost and timeline estimates for roadmap initiatives
• Coach and develop team members and lead complex problem solving
