Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional experience, including 2–3+ years in a data governance function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, CS, IT, or related field.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data cataloging/lineage concepts.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into governance policies, standards, and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Curate and maintain glossaries, taxonomies, and metadata for business and technical assets.
• Design and implement governance workflows (stewardship approvals, certifications, data access protocols).
• Support PII/PHI classification, data quality checks, and lineage validation.
• Collaborate with data product managers, SMEs, and engineers to capture business context and align it with architectures.
