Independence Pet Holdings is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to manage governance platforms and drive data cataloging, metadata, MDM, and privacy compliance across the organization. You will partner with Governance, Security, Engineering, Legal and business stakeholders to enable data quality initiatives and governance program execution.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in Data Governance or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience implementing and administering data catalog platforms with metadata management.
• Experience building a Data Stewardship Program from the ground up.
• Knowledge of data governance principles, metadata management, cataloging, lineage, and stewardship best practices.
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality processes.
• Experience with Osano for privacy and compliance technologies.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and support the enterprise Data Catalog with the governance team.
• Lead the data catalog roadmap: metadata collection, onboarding, classification, glossary, and lineage docs.
• Support Databricks Unity Catalog: data asset registration, metadata management, access governance, catalog organization.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and engineering to improve discoverability and governance adoption.
• Design and lead the Data Stewardship Program aligned with catalog deployment.
• Serve as admin and liaison for Osano, handling enhancements and compliance requests.
• Support MDM platforms and governance processes, including stewardship workflows and data quality initiatives.
• Monitor adoption, governance metrics, and usage trends; recommend improvements.
• Support governance projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
• Develop governance documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
