Job summary

Apple is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead the capacity data lake, pipelines, and analytics that drive multi-hundred-million-dollar capacity decisions. You will own the data that connects demand, supply, utilization, and cost across Apple’s cloud while guiding a geographically distributed team.

You will set the technical direction for data ingestion, modeling, governance, and serving, maintain high data quality, and collaborate with forecasting, platform, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capacity data lake team and the ingestion pipelines, data models, and analyses.
• Set technical direction for data ingestion, modeling, governance, and serving.
• Partner with forecasting, reservation/quota, platform, and finance teams to align capacity data initiatives.
• Be a hands-on technical contributor, deep-diving into architecture and data quality problems.
