Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a senior data engineering leader to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable data integration solutions for Master Data Products on the GCP platform. You will lead a team of data engineers, ensuring accurate, trusted patient, client, and test master data for analytics and AI/ML applications.

Expect 7+ years in data development, 2+ years in technical leadership, and deep GCP experience. Strong SQL/Python/Java skills and knowledge of data governance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on leadership: lead master data engineering and development in GCP.
• Team management: coach and mentor data engineers.
• Strategic alignment: translate roadmap into scalable data solutions.
• Pipeline development: build/maintain data pipelines from transactional systems to GCP analytics.
• Data governance & quality: integrate validation/standardization in pipelines.
• Technical standards: apply GCP-centric technologies and best practices.
• Delivery management: coordinate with teams to ensure timely, quality data assets.
• Advisory role: guide analytics/data science with robust master data structures.
• Continuous improvement: adopt new cloud tech and drive process improvements.
