The role requires advanced SQL, Python scripting for automation, and leadership experience to guide project teams across technical and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• 6-8 years of data engineering experience.
• Expert-level SQL skills for complex queries.
• Strong DBT experience for modeling and testing.
• Hands-on with BigQuery and other GCP data services.
• Basic Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines in GCP focused on BigQuery.
• Develop, manage, and optimize DBT models to transform data.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for extraction and analytics.
• Architect and support enterprise data warehousing solutions.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor and resolve data pipeline performance and quality issues.
• Automate workflows with Python where appropriate.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
