Job summary
Charles Schwab in Austin seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes and alignment with enterprise architecture.
You will partner with business and technology teams, manage vendors, mentor staff, and govern large projects with risk, quality, and schedule oversight, while promoting hybrid work flexibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- 120 months of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation.
- Experience in program management including team management, planning, risk mitigation, issue resolution, schedule and financial management, governance of large projects.
- Data architecture and governance, data modeling, and solution architecture across OLAP/OLTP systems.
- Familiarity with data security, encryption/decryption, and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business to understand strategic and financial objectives, recommend solutions, and design architecture for operational reporting needs.
- Manage the technical delivery of medium to large, complex projects on time and within budget, ensuring product quality.
- Plan, mitigate risk, resolve issues, and conduct feasibility analyses for complex systems projects.
- Source, hire, and onboard talent; upskill and mentor staff to support career growth.
- Coordinate delivery from System Integrators and vendors, manage SLAs, and review invoices and timesheets.
