Prescient Edge is seeking a senior data systems designer to architect and operate data management systems for intelligence needs in Washington, DC. The role requires deep expertise in data architectures, storage strategies, and performance optimization.

The candidate will work with backend databases (SQL, NoSQL, HPC) to deliver robust data pipelines and support defense analytical requirements. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with 8+ years of relevant experience and ability to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the labor category, with recent experience.
• Demonstrates mission knowledge and ability to complete developmental training.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and operates data management systems for intelligence needs.
• Designs data storage, access, and management across regimes and systems.
• Plans and optimizes data throughput and query performance.
• Selects backend database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, HPC) and optimizes full data pipeline infrastructure.
• Supports defense analytical requirements with advanced technical analyses.
