Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a highly experienced data systems professional in Washington, DC to design, implement, and operate data management systems for intelligence needs. The role emphasizes data architecture, throughput optimization, and backend database technology selection within a secure environment.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of related experience, a TS/SCI with CI POLY clearance (or ability to obtain), and a Master’s degree or equivalent senior experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience related to the labor category with at least a portion within the last 2 years.
• Security clearance TS/SCI with CI POLY or the ability to obtain CI POLY.
• Master’s Degree in an area related to the labor category; or a bachelor’s degree with an additional 5 years of related senior experience for 17 total years as substitute to a master’s.
• Location: Washington, DC (DIA HQ).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate data management systems for intelligence needs.
• Design data storage, access, use, integration, and management for different data regimes and digital systems.
• Work with data users to determine, create, and populate optimal data architectures, structures, and systems.
• Plan, design, and optimize data throughput and query performance.
• Participate in the selection of backend database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Graph Database) and optimize the full data pipeline to support queries and analysis.
