Job summary

Super.com is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-performing Data Engineering team. You will tackle the organization’s most challenging data problems, building robust, scalable solutions using Snowflake, dbt, Kafka, and Amplitude in a fast-growing environment.

You will report to the Engineering Manager on the SWAT team, balancing rapid delivery with high data quality while aligning with business needs and stakeholders across finance, sales, marketing, and product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software/data engineering experience with Python and SQL.
• Bold ownership in high-stakes situations with fast learning of new tech.
• Experience designing well-architected data solutions for large-scale systems.
• Strong database design and warehouse modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient architectural recommendations, gain buy-in, and implement them in a reliable manner.
• Improve, oversee, and coach standards for code+infrastructure maintainability and performance through written documentation and peer review.
• Work closely with analytics and BI teams and other stakeholders to identify data needs and enable better product decisions.
• Champion data governance as a core part of engineering workflows.
• Help evolve and scale our data platform to grow the business and ensure stability.
