Ochsner Health in New Orleans seeks a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data sources and pipelines for multiple analytics and business units. You will convert raw data into usable datasets and automate manual processes to improve efficiency.

The role requires strong SQL, ETL, and BI tooling experience, with a focus on dimensional modeling and data quality. Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, business, or related field.
• 5 years of professional experience in a data engineering or equivalent role.
• 3 years of experience using SQL in daily activities.
• 3 years of experience working with relational databases.
• 1 year of experience using a BI tool (Tableau, PowerBI, etc).
• Preferred - 1 year of experience with dimensional modeling and ETL processes and tools.
• 1 year of experience with other programming language(s) (Python, Java etc).

• Works with analytical departments to understand their priorities and develop data solutions to assist with their objectives.
• Provides expertise in all facets of logical modeling and presentation solutions including prototyping and proof of concept, using best practices within the business intelligence and data management environments.
• Maintains and develops documentation to identify and define processes or procedures.
• Manages data by following best practices.
• Supports and monitors business intelligence systems and processes.
• May assist with administering business intelligence server(s) and/or processes.
• Serves as a technical resource and support to multiple teams.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
