Job summary

Quantiphi seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain cloud-native data pipelines using Snowflake and Python. You will drive migrations from legacy systems to modern data platforms, ensuring data integrity for financial reporting and analytics.

You will translate business requirements into Epics and User Stories in Jira, and collaborate with finance and operations to deliver scalable ETL/ELT workflows while maintaining operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of expert-level SQL experience: complex queries, CTEs, window functions, joins, optimization.
• 3-5 years of Python development with Pandas/Polars for large datasets.
• Hands-on design/optimizaton of cloud-native data warehouses and data lakes (Snowflake).
• Proven experience building scalable ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines and data lake architectures in Snowflake.
• Migrate legacy systems to a modern data platform with data mapping and transformation logic.
• Support analytics and reporting with data cleaning, deduplication, and integrity checks.
• Break down business requirements into Epics and User Stories in Jira; help with planning and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to drive adoption of the new platform.
