Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across on-premises and cloud sources. You will drive dbt-based transformations, Snowflake modeling, and semantic layers to support AI and natural-language search capabilities.

You will mentor one data engineer and guide analysts in engineering best practices, while advancing CI/CD, governance, and cross-functional collaboration across the data platform team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Data Eng.
• Five+ years of data engineering experience with production pipelines.
• Advanced Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, data sharing.
• Experience moving data across on-premises to cloud using batch/streaming.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines (batch/real-time).
• Serves as core developer for Snowflake platform and performance tuning.
• Architects and builds transformation pipelines for Snowflake and dbt features.
