Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help build and own a new data warehouse for a manufacturing and services organization. You will ingest data from sources, surface clean data for internal reporting and future AI use, and independently design, build, and maintain data pipelines.

This senior role requires hands-on delivery with limited supervision and collaboration with leadership and a consulting partner.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Job description

We are hiring for a Senior Data Engineer to join a manufacturing & services organization to help build & own a new data warehouse. This person will be working with a consulting org & internal leadership to establish a data warehouse, build ingestions from data sources, and surface clean data for internal reporting & future AI use. This is a senior level position Ideal for someone who has independently designed, built & maintained data pipelines and is comfortable working relatively independently.

To be considered applicants must have experience with the core tech stack of Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran.

Hybrid position (3x/week) in Addison, TX

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
