Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a seasoned Data Architect to lead data design and architecture and to engage with stakeholders across business units. The role requires hands-on execution, collaboration with teams, and guiding architectural decisions in a hybrid Plano, TX setting.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, 3+ years in data architecture, and strong expertise in cloud data architecture, Snowflake, ETL, and data warehousing. This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days on-site in Plano.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total experience in data roles.
• 3+ years with data architecture and design.
• Cloud data architecture experience; AWS strongly preferred.
• Experience with Snowflake and data warehousing.
• Proven data pipelining & ETL experience.

Job description

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

We are searching for a data architect to join a rapidly growing data organization for a top financial organization in the DFW area. In this position you would be leading both technical data design & architecture efforts as well as stakeholder conversations & integrations with other business units.

This position will require extensive domain knowledge in multiple aspects of data from architecture & design to performance, database management, engineering, and analytics. To qualify you must have prior experience working in an architectural capacity collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop and present plans, and execution.

This is a hybrid (3-4x/week) position in Plano, TX
