Job summary

Nimble Gravity is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build foundational data pipelines for a decentralized Data Mesh strategy, migrating from on-prem to a modern cloud platform with Snowflake.

You will design reference architectures, support batch, streaming, and event-driven data movement, and ensure AI-ready data with semantic modeling for Self-Service 2.0 interfaces. You will lead a small team of engineers and mentor analysts across the business.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of dedicated data engineering experience.
• Advanced Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, data sharing experience required.
• Experience moving data across hybrid environments (on-prem to cloud).
• Experience with semantic layers (dbt Semantic Layer, Snowflake Cortex) for AI features.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Architecture: design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines (batch, real-time streaming, event-driven).
• Snowflake Platform Ownership: core developer for Snowflake data platform, optimization and storage modeling.
