Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) and Lead Member of Technical Staff (LMTS) to advance Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities. You will design, build, and operate AI-enabled tools and data integration platforms, collaborating with Product Management and Architecture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or MDM experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development platforms (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot).
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and agentic workflows.
• Hands-on with Java, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Airflow, ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Kafka, CDC, event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and distributed data processing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Related technical degree required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered developer tools and automation.
• Build end-to-end MDM integration systems including MuleSoft and Airflow.
• Implement entity resolution and golden record lifecycle management.
• Design data models, schemas, and APIs for MDM across hierarchies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted software engineering practices.
• Lead design reviews and establish engineering standards.
• Provide technical leadership across teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement scalable solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and release activities.
