Job summary

MetaPhase Consulting seeks a Senior Data Engineer in the Washington, DC area to design, build, and sustain scalable data pipelines and data products. You will convert diverse data into governed information assets to support visual analytics and operational decisions.

The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, a BS degree in a related field, and an active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for SCI access. On-site work is expected with occasional travel and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or related field.
• BS in CS/DS/IS/Engineering or related discipline.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize batch and real-time pipelines.
• Create scalable relational databases and data models.
• Develop ETL/ELT, data quality, metadata, and lineage.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission users to refine data requirements.
• Ensure secure access, auditability, and production readiness.
