Job summary

Anthropic is hiring a Data Engineer to join the Data Science & Analytics team. You will build scalable data pipelines, transform raw logs into reliable datasets, and develop dashboards that drive key metrics across the company.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and other teams to ensure access to accurate metrics for consumer products, supporting self-serve analytics and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar analytics role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python to build accurate data models.
• Experience building data pipelines with dbt and orchestrators like Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement data pipelines transforming logs into canonical datasets.
• Develop dashboards to track core metrics for cross-functional teams.
• Establish data integrity standards and SLAs for timely, accurate data delivery.
• Partner with stakeholders to define metrics and analysis for new products.
• Lead self-serve analytics initiatives to enable data-driven decisions.
