Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Data Engineer for the Data Science & Analytics team in New York. You will build scalable analytics foundations, turning raw data into reliable metrics, reporting, and insights to support product development from ideation to launch.

You will lead multi-step ETL pipelines with dbt, work with Airflow and GitHub, and craft data models and dashboards used across cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, training or experience.
• Strong experience building data pipelines and data products.
• Ability to translate partner needs into data models and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Understand data needs of partner teams and translate into data models and requirements.
• Build and manage dbt pipelines turning raw logs into canonical data sets.
• Set data integrity standards and SLAs for timely, accurate delivery.
• Create dashboards to track core metrics and share insights across the company.
• Develop foundational data products, dashboards and tools for self-serve analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics for new consumer products.
