Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior/Staff Data Engineer IV to own and build scalable data systems across vehicle telemetry, field operations, and business data. You will create durable data pipelines, data models, and tools, driving reliability and observability for internal reporting and customer analytics.

You will partner with software, robotics, and leadership teams to deliver data products and workflows that support fleet performance, billing, and operational decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as CS, CE, DS, or math.
• Typically 5+ years in data engineering or related data‑platform work; Staff‑level candidates show deeper architecture ownership.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with production data pipelines experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize production data pipelines ingesting fleet, telemetry, and business data.
• Design data models to support analytics, reporting, and operational workflows.
• Own systems turning autonomous vehicle activity into trusted usage data.
• Develop pipelines using Python, SQL, orchestration tools, and cloud platforms.
• Improve data quality with automated tests, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to translate questions into durable data systems.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership for data architecture and code quality.
