Prima is expanding its data engineering team and seeks a Senior Data Engineer to bridge ML/DS and engineering. You will design data products, build scalable pipelines, and collaborate with data scientists to drive growth through robust data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Expertise in batch, distributed data processing and near real-time streaming pipelines.
• Experience with data lake/big data analytics on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Proficient in Python and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD and IaC deployment.

Responsibilities

• Shape the architecture of data products for data analytics and data science use cases (forecasting, feature engineering, customer behavior).
• Lead data transformation best practices (data modeling, performance optimization, data governance).
• Build reusable components to ingest, store, transform, and serve data products.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to refine data infrastructure.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to community activities.
