Dave is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve the data systems powering decision-making across our platform. You’ll own production data pipelines, platforms, and partner with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable data capabilities.

You'll mentor engineers, shape data modeling patterns, and optimize Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow workloads while balancing cost, performance, and reliability in a remote, US-wide team.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience with ownership of production data systems.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with fundamentals like testing, code review, version control, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift as a modern data warehouse.
• Experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer and dbt or similar orchestration tools.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate trade-offs clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, implementation, operation, and evolution of production data pipelines.
• Build and improve integrations across APIs, files, CDC and event sources, cloud services.
• Establish patterns for data modeling, orchestration, testing, data quality, observability.
• Improve Snowflake, dbt, Airflow workloads for reliability, scalability, cost.
• Lead design reviews and mentor teams across engineering.
• Strengthen engineering organization through documentation and durable solutions.
