Job summary

Care Access is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise data solutions. You will ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery from multiple sources to support analytics and reporting, leveraging Databricks, dbt, Python, and Azure.

You will partner with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to advance data architectures, optimize processing, and drive governance while using cloud-native tools and modern data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with cloud-based, production-grade data pipelines.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, SQL, dbt, Python, and cloud data ecosystems such as Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools like Airflow and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data from diverse domains.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines to support clinical, operational, and business needs.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
• Build automated systems for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using cloud-native tools.
