Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Platform Engineering Organization. The role focuses on building scalable cloud data solutions, data pipelines, and data products using AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Python, and SQL.

You will collaborate with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to drive analytics and data-driven decision-making across the bank. This is a remote role available in NC, AZ, FL and TX, with strong emphasis on data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in data engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, or cloud data platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data architectures aligned with business goals.
• Develop and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines.
• Establish data governance and quality monitoring.
