Job summary

Objectways is hiring an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern data platforms that power analytics, reporting, ML, and business operations. The role requires strong SQL, Python/PySpark/Scala, and hands-on experience with AWS.

You will build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, develop data models, data lakes, and data warehouses, and collaborate with stakeholders to enable AI initiatives. Remote work options available for U.S.-based candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses.
• Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.
• Develop and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to support reporting and AI initiatives.
• Implement data quality, governance, security, and monitoring frameworks.
• Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency.
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Support cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics architectures.
