Job summary

PDMI seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data integration, reporting, and analytics solutions. You will modernize legacy SQL Server/SSRS to a cloud architecture centered on Amazon Redshift and AWS services, delivering scalable ETL pipelines and governed data products for trusted self-service analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years in ETL, data engineering, BI, or data warehousing.
• Hands-on with enterprise data warehouses including Redshift.
• Advanced SQL development, performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and BI reporting tools.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and support scalable ETL pipelines.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data transformations, and models.
• Migration of legacy SSRS to modern cloud-based platforms.
• Build cloud-based data warehouses using Redshift and AWS services.
• Develop governed data models and Tableau reporting for enterprise analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture reporting and data needs.
• Implement data governance, security controls, and CI/CD practices.
