Job summary

Thrivent Financial seeks a Senior Engineer to design and deliver data software solutions. You will work independently and with teams to build stable, scalable data pipelines and analytics components that support customer outcomes.

You will leverage Informatica PowerCenter, Zena, Oracle, SQL and Snowflake to architect the data flows, while collaborating with clients to define requirements and ensure quality delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years data engineering experience.
Development and maintenance of data warehouse and BI using Informatica PowerCenter and Zena.
Experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and relational databases.
Designing and architecting data pipelines; OLTP/OLAP data movement and staging.
Engagement with clients to gather requirements and finalize specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain core data software solutions enabling product outcomes.
Collaborate with team to decompose work and participate in product planning.
Build scalable data pipelines and enterprise data lake components.
Provide domain expertise in data analysis and test cases execution.
