Job summary

AMH is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform supporting BI, AI/ML initiatives and data products. You will implement real-time and batch pipelines, ensure data quality, and deploy ML models to production.

This role partners with business teams to translate needs into scalable data solutions. The candidate will lead data architecture design, CI/CD practices, and provide technical mentorship across the team, leveraging Databricks, Spark, and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, MIS, mathematics, physics, engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum eight years as a data engineer with full-stack capabilities.
• Minimum ten years in programming.
• Minimum five years in cloud technologies like Azure, AWS or Google.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain real-time or batch data pipelines for large data sets.
• Develop tools for ingestion, curation, and provisioning of data for analytics and data science.
• Design advanced data products and intelligent APIs for BI/AI/ML needs.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and integrate new features while ensuring data quality.
