Job summary

Tillster is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own data warehouse infrastructure across Redshift, BigQuery and Snowflake, and to build real-time, batch and streaming pipelines that empower analytics across marketing, product, engineering, sales, finance and operations.

You will design data structures for real-time decision making, unify GA4 and CRM sources into a single warehouse, develop modular dbt models, and collaborate with Data Analysts to ensure Looker dashboards are accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• 4+ years Python development.
• 4+ years SQL (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• 2+ years AWS or equivalent cloud platform.
• 2+ years Airflow or comparable orchestration tools.
• Hands-on dbt data transformation and modeling.
• Experience with Looker or Tableau BI tools.
• Experience with real-time ingestion tools (Snowpipe, Stitch, Fivetran, or Kinesis).
• Experience in Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain data warehouse infrastruture across Redshift, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
• Build real-time, batch, and streaming data pipelines for analytics products.
• Design data structures for real-time and near-real-time decisions.
• Support data needs of MarTech stack and BI tools.
• Modify SQL and Python ELT processes loading data into warehouses.
• Troubleshoot Airflow/Jenkins jobs and collaborate with DevOps.
• Fulfill ad-hoc data extract requests and other data duties.
