Job summary

BLN24 is seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME): Data Engineer to support CFPB’s RegTech program by turning large-scale regulatory data into actionable insight. You will design ML models and large-scale Spark pipelines in a cloud-native environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with ML algorithms, Spark, data cleaning, and trend analysis, and can translate business goals into analytic solutions while ensuring compliance with AI governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience with ML algorithms in cloud-native env.
• Experience with Spark architectures and SparkSQL.
• Experience data cleaning and large-scale trend analysis.
• Experience with GitHub for source code management.
• Ability translate organizational goals into ML models and statistical models.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML models in a cloud-native environment.
• Develop large-scale data processing pipelines with Spark core APIs and SparkSQL.
• Perform data cleaning and trend analyses on large-scale datasets.
• Translate organizational goals into working ML and statistical models.
• Ensure ML work complies with AI governance policy and bias Testing requirements.
• Collaborate with program, policy, and technical teams; manage code in GitHub.
