Audacy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Engineering team.

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of building and optimizing scalable data infrastructure that supports critical business insights, product innovation, and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with other engineering teams, analytics, and product teams to design and drive data-forward solutions across a massive-scale digital audio ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of Python and SQL experience.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery/Snowflake).
• 3+ years of Airflow (Cloud Composer) experience.
• 3+ years data modeling (star/relational schemas).
• Strong agile, cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Build, maintain, and optimize data models and data warehouses.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues and root causes.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate requirements into backlogs.
• Mentor and lead other data engineers on best practices.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of data infrastructure.
• Define data governance, quality, and privacy standards, and document pipelines.
