Job summary

cBEYONData + SMX is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and deliver data-driven solutions for a Federal customer. You will lead a team and ensure production pipelines meet business needs using Palantir Foundry or Databricks.

The role requires 10 years of related experience, a DoD clearance, and onsite work two days per week at Crystal City. Strong data modeling, analytics, and collaboration with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of related work experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Onsite 2 days per week at the Taylor Building in Crystal City, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of junior developers in delivering client-required capabilities.
• Design and build data solutions using Palantir Foundry, Databricks, or comparable platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize production data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Promote code into production following DevOps and CI/CD processes.
• Define test cases and validate results to ensure correct operation.
• Collaborate with technical teams and Federal customer representatives.
