Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a data engineering expert to build and operate production-grade data pipelines and lakehouse platforms in the Atlanta area. You will optimize end-to-end data flows, implement CDC, streaming, batch processing, and data quality checks, and collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on data engineering or data platform development.
• Proficient in SQL with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Strong programming skills in Python/Java/Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Apache Hudi.
• Experience with distributed query engines like Trino or Spark SQL.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production-grade batch and streaming data pipelines end-to-end.
• Implement lakehouse data layers across landing, raw, conformed, and consumption zones.
• Develop automated data-quality checks, monitoring, and dashboards; troubleshoot production issues.
