As a hands-on senior contributor, you will mentor engineers, drive patterns and observability, and help a lean team scale with automation and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production data engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Strong SQL, Python, Spark and modern tooling.
• Experience with data quality, monitoring, lineage, and governance.
• CI/CD, automated testing, and streaming ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain batch, streaming, and event-driven ingestion pipelines.
• Develop transformation logic and orchestrated workflows.
• Design datasets for analytics, reporting, and AI use.
• Instrument pipelines with validation checks and alerts.
• Tune workloads for performance, scale, and cost.
• Establish engineering standards and reference architectures.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers.
