Zillow is seeking a proactive Senior Data Engineer to own Anaplan architecture for sales incentive compensation, design a scalable Databricks data warehouse, and implement robust data pipelines from Salesforce, Workday, and Zuora. You will lead CI/CD processes, ensure SOX-compliant controls, and expand the AI tech stack with Claude Code for end-user reporting in Databricks.

This remote role supports U.S. locations, offering equity awards and a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or application developer at a mid-to-large tech company, preferably in sales operations, finance, or incentive compensation context.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience building data pipelines and API integrations.
• Experience with Databricks for data warehousing, architecture, SQL, and end-user reporting.
• Familiarity with Anaplan system architecture and integration with enterprise systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab) and SOX compliance controls.

Responsabilités

• Own Anaplan system architecture for sales incentive compensation across business units.
• Design and maintain Databricks data warehouse architecture and reporting infra.
• Build and maintain data pipelines from Salesforce/Workday/Zuora to Anaplan.
• Develop Python/SQL pipelines and API integrations for data movement.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and GitLab repository administration.
• Ensure SOX compliance, change management, and data governance.
• Expand AI tooling, integrating Claude Code and end-user reporting in Databricks.
