Job summary

Apple is seeking a data engineer to build and scale the data infrastructure powering iCloud insights and high-quality reporting for business decisions. Located in Austin, TX, you will contribute to data pipelines, model design, and ensure reliable data for DS&A and stakeholder teams.

You will collaborate across teams to tackle complex problems with an agile approach, translate requirements into scalable data solutions, and surface patterns across storage, engagement, and commerce data to support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles, building and maintaining complex data pipelines and data models at scale.
• Strong SQL proficiency for querying, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets.
• Advanced Python and distributed computing with Spark for data manipulation and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and maintain the data infrastructure powering iCloud insights, including pipeline building and optimization, data model design, and data quality.
• Collaborate across teams to tackle complex problems quickly using agile methods with strong attention to detail.
• Partner with insights engineering and data science peers to translate requirements into scalable data solutions that improve automation and reliability of core iCloud workflows.
• Develop systems that surface patterns across iCloud data to support organizational reporting.
• Shape how iCloud data is structured, governed, and delivered to improve analytical data ecosystem quality, coverage, and efficiency.
