Job summary

Accenture is seeking a GCP Data Engineer in Seattle to help modernize data ecosystems, enable real-time analytics, and responsibly scale AI on Google Cloud. You will design data pipelines, models, and analytics solutions while collaborating with senior architects and client teams.

You will work with BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Looker, Vertex AI, Gemini models, and MLOps practices. Travel may be required depending on client needs and engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics, ML engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Deliver data modernization, analytics, and AI solutions on GCP.
• Support architecture design, build data pipelines and models.
• Perform analysis and contribute to technical implementations under guidance.
• Develop data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage.
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Support dashboards and analytics products using Looker/Looker Studio.
• Contribute to ML/AI solution development using Vertex AI and Gemini models.
• Help establish MLOps processes and support data governance and security.
