The University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning seeks an Application Database Admin III to design and manage data infrastructure for data science research at the Gainesville campus. You will help develop databases and data warehouses, support internal reporting, and mentor others in database design across environments.

You will collaborate with AI development efforts, establish data governance, and ensure secure, scalable data solutions for Center-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
• Knowledge of SAS, R, Python, and SQL, or data visualization software.

Responsabilités

• In Data Management: build data infrastructure for data science research and support data warehouses across platforms.
• In Data Coordination: analyze requirements, design database schemas, and ensure data integrity and availability.
• In AI Development: collaborate to identify opportunities for AI in data processing and establish standards for model validation and prompt engineering.
