The role collaborates across software, database, and analytics teams to deliver reliable data delivery for clients and internal stakeholders. The position emphasizes experience with SQL, Python, and Microsoft Fabric/Azure services, and requires strong data modeling and governance skills within a financial services

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience in an oversight capacity.
• Extensive domain experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Experience with Microsoft cloud-based technologies in a hybrid architecture.
• Advanced T-SQL knowledge and end-to-end data pipeline development.
• Experience performing operational analysis on data and processes.
• Strong analytics for complex, multi-layered data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain a robust data pipeline architecture.
• Identify and implement internal process improvements for data delivery and scalability.
• Build and maintain a service-based architecture for publication of data objects.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to evolve the data environment.
• Support data-related technical issues for stakeholders.
• Develop guidelines to ensure data structures are compliant and secure.
• Define metrics and ensure adherence to data policies.
