Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Internal IT Analytics team. You will design and maintain data pipelines, develop complex data models, and support BI reporting for multiple stakeholders across the business.

You will work with Java, Python and SQL in a Big Data environment, integrating cloud data stores and on-prem systems. Travel up to 10% may be required, with strong emphasis on data quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years progressive experience in data/IT roles.
• 3+ years analytics, SQL, and ETL development.
• Strong SQL with PL/SQL development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with architects and data scientists on enterprise data solutions.
• Build and optimize data models and star schemas for analytics.
• Support production issues and provide timely data-driven insights.
