Job summary

Enigma Technologies in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Entity Resolution team and shape the trajectory of our next generation BI products. You will design, build, and maintain core data capabilities starting from raw sources to scalable pipelines and customer interfaces.

You will work with Databricks SQL, PySpark, and MLFlow on a modern data platform, collaborate across teams, and own end-to-end data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering or data science experience
• 3+ years working on distributed data systems
• Experience extracting value from data to deliver customer impact
• Bias towards simple, elegant solutions while implementing state-of-the-art models when required
• Strong collaboration in cross-functional environments

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and create data capabilities to address them.
• Engineer scalable data systems that tell the story of millions of U.S. small businesses using Databricks SQL, PySpark, MLFlow.
• Build on a modern data infrastructure (Dagster for orchestration and LakeFS for data versioning).
• Apply a data-focused, first-principles approach to problem solving and iterate quickly.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
