Motion Recruitment is seeking a remote Data Engineer to own data pipelines and transformations across North America. You’ll work with modern tech like Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Terraform in a fully remote role, with a preference for Pacific or Mountain time zones.

You’ll own data pipeline development, modeling, and operations in a collaborative environment focused on engineering excellence and meaningful ownership.

Competenze

• 2+ years of professional Data Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake.
• Advanced SQL and data transformation expertise.
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data operations, platform support, and troubleshooting.

Join a rapidly growing logistics and supply chain technology organization that is expanding its data capabilities to support large-scale operations across North America. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with a preference for candidates located in the Pacific or Mountain time zones. Working in a fully remote environment, you'll leverage modern technologies including Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Terraform to help build and scale a robust cloud data platform.

This remote role is ideal for a data professional who enjoys owning the operational side of data engineering. The organization already has strong foundations in architecture, ingestion, and data modeling, and is seeking someone who can deepen the platform through data transformations, pipeline development, DBA-focused work, and production operations. You'll join a collaborative, low-ego remote team that values autonomy, engineering excellence, and meaningful ownership, with the opportunity to make a significant impact without the churn-and-burn pace often associated with startup environments.
