Texas Health & Human Services Commission seeks an experienced Data Engineering Systems Analyst V to design and maintain Databricks pipelines, lead Oracle-to-Databricks migrations, and mentor junior engineers. The role focuses on scalable data architectures for agency reporting and analytics, with strong emphasis on ETL/ELT processes and data integration across on‑prem and cloud platforms.

Formación

• Experience writing SQL/PL-SQL.
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on Databricks notebooks and workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases and BI tools.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, develops, and maintains data pipelines in Databricks.
• Leads migration from Oracle to Databricks and plans data modeling and validation.
• Mentors junior team members on data engineering best practices.
• Tests and diagnoses systems to ensure accurate, reliable reporting.
• Documents reporting methodologies and supports data-driven decision making.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
