Schupan is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines on Databricks. You will connect ERP and operational systems, build AI-powered tools, and partner with trading and operations to deliver actionable data solutions.

You will implement data quality controls, collaborate with leadership to define data standards, and help scale our data platform as part of a family-owned business investing in its people and technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, applied mathematics, or similar field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, API Developer, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience building and operating data pipelines in Databricks (Spark, SQL, Delta Lake).
• Strong SQL skills, including T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Intermediate or expert proficiency in Python.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST; GraphQL a plus).
• Demonstrated use of Claude and Replit, or similar AI coding tools, in your work.
